The Big Intervale Lodge is located along the banks of the Margaree River on Cape Breton Island, 19 km (12 mi) off the Cabot Trail. Our cabins are nestled under giant maples and surrounded by forest and mountains offering spectacular scenery – a nature-lover’s paradise!  We offer salmon and trout fly-fishing along the Margaree River. Our accommodations include 6 units with a private 3-pc bath, individual electric heat thermostats, coffeemaker, satellite television and free Internet. Our lodge features a licensed dining room.
