After entering Cape Breton Island from the Canso Causeway, a 35 minute drive north along Ceilidh Trail will take you to the village of Port Hood. There you will find a relaxing taste of life by the sea and the 'Lighthouse Cottages', its name reminding us of the golden age of sailing ships that Port Hood was an important part of.  What a view from your cottage!  All 9 cottages have 2 bedrooms, full kitchenette, 4-piece bath, cable TV and fabulous views.
