West Mabou Beach Provincial Park encompasses 215 hectares (530 acres) and contains a number of diverse ecosystems including sandy and rocky beaches, sand dunes, alkaline ponds, estuaries, tidal flats, a small bird island, woodlands, and coves.  This natural environment park with large sand beach and dune system lies at the mouth of Mabou Harbour. The park also includes old farm fields and marshes. There are gentle walking trails, benches, and picnic tables and is a beautiful natural place that is easily accessible to all. The large sandy beach at West Mabou has been a popular summer escape for many local families for decades.  And the well-developed system of walking trails lead you to amazing vistas and provide the perfect vantage points for some spectacular pictures. A day spent at West Mabou Beach is a day well spent!
