Winter Activities


To many, our country is known as a winter wonderland, and Cape Breton Island certainly plays its part! Hit the slopes for a downhill or cross-country run at Cape Smokey or Ben Eoin... strap on the snowshoes for a frosty hike... or bundle up for a scenic snowmobile tour across the glistening, windswept tundra that we call our backyard. When the temperature drops and the flakes fall, Cape Breton is just as friendly -- even if it requires a few layers and a warm tuke.
