Blue Thistle Tours provide scenic guided tours and private hire throughout the spectacular island of Cape Breton. We offer a unique, personal feel, including custom-designed tours to enhance your island experience.
Tours are designed to encompass historic and cultural destinations such as Baddeck, a picturesque village nestled on the shores of the shimmering Bras d’Or Lake. Iona, a living history museum where you will experience the challenges faced by Cape Bretons European settlers. You may choose to step back in time to Louisbourg Fort, the largest reconstructed Fort in North America or ride the Cabot Trail often referred to as one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world.
Custom tours can be designed to experience our Islands cultural events such as Celtic Colours, a unique celebration of music and arts which takes place every autumn, or to capture Cape Bretons spectacular Fall Colors along the Cabot Trail & Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Blue Thistle Tours aim to guide you through a historic journey to experience the strong sense of culture the Island holds, from lobster rolls, craft beers to local crafts & music.You will be transported in our luxury 12- seat Mercedes Sprinter passenger van, air-conditioned and specifically designed to provide the best viewing experience for our customers.
