Heritage Home Bed & Breakfast, located in North Sydney, is the perfect location to explore the many sites and attractions on beautiful Cape Breton Island. This 19th-century Victorian home with a spectacular view of Sydney Harbour provides a cozy atmosphere with a touch of elegance inspired by lovely antiques and local artwork. Our full healthy sumptuous breakfast is served with gourmet flair! Guests can take a stroll in our beautiful gardens or relax on our veranda and enjoy the ocean view.
We are within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, a museum, and a library. We are minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry and close to many area attractions such as beaches and golf courses. The Fortress of Louisbourg, the Highland Village in Iona, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck, and the start of the Cabot Trail are within 60 kilometres (4550 minutes’ drive). Downtown Sydney is about 20 kilometres away (a 20-minute drive).
Our accommodations include two guest rooms and two family units (Queen and Single beds) with 4-piece baths (three ensuite and one private). Guest features include fibre-op high-speed Internet access and fibre-op TV, a library and reading room, and air-conditioning in each guest room. A sumptuous full breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. (earlier if requested).

Cash, Travellers Cheques and E-Transfers are accepted. Check-out time is 10:30 a.m. Off season rate: $100 per night.
