MacNeil House is located in beautiful Baddeck on Cape Breton Island, sharing the property with the Silver Dart Lodge. Whether you want to sit and relax on our observation deck while taking in the beautiful scenery and gorgeous view of the Bras dOr Lakes or get active and take a hike on the walking trails, kayak on the lakes, or enjoy the Cabot Trail adventures, our goal is to help you build a better Cape Breton vacation.
Guests can also enjoy a leisurely stroll through Baddeck where you will find a variety of unique shops, a beautiful boardwalk, yacht club, and fantastic views of the Bras dOr Lakes. We are conveniently located within walking distance of local attractions such as the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and Kidston Island Beach.
Accommodations include 6 air-conditioned non-smoking suites (Queen or King; 1 or 2 bedrooms), full kitchen, 4-piece bath, cable flat-screen television, and free wireless Internet; most with living room, fireplace. Guest amenities include a Taste of Nova Scotia approved licensed air conditioned dining room, exercise room, heated outdoor pool and gift shop.
Our outdoor activities include swimming, woodland walking trails, basketball, playground and biking. We are your perfect home base for a memorable Cape Breton Vacation and your Cabot Trail adventures.
