Our beautiful 26 acre property is situated at the foot of the Cape Breton Highlands and features 3km of professionally built trails with breathtaking views of the mountains, a lake, and the Atlantic Ocean. A true opportunity to disconnect from it all, and connect with nature.
The authentic experience we offer our guests is important to us. We keep our trails well maintained, ensuring that even the youngest hikers can explore the woods safely, and with ease. And for those who prefer biking, our trails offer a thrilling mountain biking experience – and were just getting started. We also have a beautiful rock-built fire pit for our guests to enjoy.
The adventure doesn’t stop there. Our mountainside yard and trails are the perfect haven for birdwatching and offer an amazing opportunity to spot some of the local wildlife.
After a day of exploring, relax in one of our four detached, self-catering cottages. Each cottage is equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, queen bed and options to sleep up to 4, private 3-piece bath, seating area, front deck with sports equipment storage, BBQ access and access to our new Pizza oven. We offer free Wi-Fi and parking, so you can stay connected while enjoying the natural beauty around you.
For 2023, we are offering an intro to camping experience catered to families where Mom and Dad can stay in one of our stunning little cottages, and the kids (or others – up to four) can stay in one of our brand new cotton-canvas bell tents!
Cape Bretons North Shore boasts some amazing attractions like the Dancing Moose Cafe, Wreck Cove General Store and Highland Bow. We are also under 20 minutes from Cape Smokey, the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and all of the amenities in Ingonish.
