About

Experience the rhythm of Cape Breton! Come enjoy a week of percussive dance and traditional music in scenic Mabou village. This dance camp features some of the island’s finest dancers, musicians, and Gaelic singers and is led by Melody Cameron, a Mabou-based fiddler and dancer with over 40 years of experience. But it is more than just a dance camp, it offers live music every afternoon, informative discussions, a guided trip to a family square dance and a Cape Breton house party.  In association with the school, we also offer a yoga session and a fitness class. The goals for the school are not only to offer high quality dance instruction, but also to give participants a well-rounded Mabou, Cape Breton experience. Join us and make unforgettable memories! For more information including schedule and fees, or to register, visit capebretonstepdance.com.
