Travelodge Sydney overlooks the beautiful Sydney Harbour on Cape Breton Island. We are just 2 kilometres / 1.2 miles from downtown Sydney and close to shopping, dining and live entertainment. Other nearby attractions includes the picturesque Sydney Boardwalk and Casino Nova Scotia. Explore Sydney’s most historic sites including Cossit House (circa 1785), Jost House (circa 1785), St. Patrick’s Museum (circa 1828) and Lyceum (circa 1904).
There are many attractions to enjoy on Cape Breton Island while staying with us. Take a day and tour the world famous Cabot Trail; see the Fortress of Louisbourg or the Highland Village; and visit the Miners Museum just to name a few.
Renovated in 2015–16, our accommodations include 126 air-conditioned hotel units (King, Queen, Double; 100% non-smoking), with a 4-piece bath, cable television, radio, and telephone.
In addition to our 126 guestrooms, we also offer Kitchenette Suites. We have six 1 Queen Bedroom Kitchenette Suites, Three 2 Queen 2 room Kitchenette Suites and one Business 1 Queen Bedroom Suite with alcove.
All guest rooms include a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Complimentary welcome amenity is included with all rooms. Guest amenities include an indoor pool, fitness centre, games room, patio, guest laundry, and free parking. Pets are permitted. We are a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia. All major credit cards are accepted.
Cancellation Policy: Must cancel before 4:00 pm on your day of arrival for a refund of your deposit or to avoid a credit card charge. Please note for packages that you must cancel 48 hours before your day of arrival.
