Get ready for an evening of laughter and good food at the Bras d’Or Lakes Inn when Craig Fay, Rebecca Reeds, and Cape Breton’s own Clifton Cremo come to town for Comedy Night in St. Peter’s.
Since beginning his career in standup comedy, Clifton Cremo has been entertaining audiences with his deft brand of storytelling and wry absurdism. Cremo’s perspective on his Mi’kmaw upbringing and his unique outlook on First Nations issues brought him national attention by showing that no matter the divisiveness of an issue, humour can be a common ground. The Eskasoni native has been featured on CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival, The Debaters, and Laugh Out Loud, and performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Toronto and Vancouver. Cremo has also worked with top-notch comedians like Joe Pera, Kenny vs. Spenny, and Tom Green, among many others.
Craig Fay is a Toronto-based standup comedian who has appeared on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, performed at Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, and released two critically-acclaimed comedy albums. Rebecca Reeds is a comedian, writer, and podcaster—also based in Toronto—who can be heard on Sirius XM, and popular CBC programs The Debaters and Laugh Out Loud. Reeds has recently released her debut album and performed at festivals including Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Hubcap Comedy Festival. Fay and Reeds co-host the award-winning podcast “The Villain Was Right”.
