Keltic Drive at the Louisbourg Playhouse

11 Aberdeen Street, Louisbourg

902-733-2996

Keltic Drive is made up of some of the busiest and most talented musicians in Cape Breton. Kimberley Fraser is regarded as one of the stellar players of the Cape Breton fiddle tradition. Lyndon MacKenzie comes from a long line of well-known traditional players who can pick out a Celtic tune with the best of them and play everything else from country to rock with ease. Emily Dingwall is often sought out for her smooth harmonies, soulful basslines, and chameleon-like ability to blend into any musical situation. Singer-songwriter Aaron Lewis is an established vocalist and seasoned musician who plays a variety of instruments. A member of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, Aaron has toured all over the world, including seven years with The Carleton Showband. Together they will take you on a musical and visual journey featuring songs from our greatest songwriters, tributes to our biggest singers, traditional fiddle tunes from well-known fiddlers, and even a step or two, all set against a backdrop of picturesque scenes from beautiful Cape Breton Island.
