Louisbourg Race Through Time
An exhilarating 8-mile road race taking you from modern day to 18th century Fortress of Louisbourg that the French walked upon nearly 300 years ago and back to modern day again! This race will start at 5:30 pm in the community of Louisbourg and will end in the community. A delicious Spaghetti & Meatball meal will be available as the runners finish the race (Vegetarian and gluten free also available). The race course will close at 7:15 pm – must be finished race by this time! An award ceremony will begin at approx. 7:15 pm. No showers will be available. No dogs allowed on site except Service Animals.
Kit Pick-up will take place on race day from 3:00-5:00 pm at the United Church Hall at 3 Upper Warren Street in Louisbourg. Must be at the start line by 5:15 pm sharp. Registration fee: $52/person (Run NS members will receive a $5 discount). Pre-registration deadline: Monday, August 12th at 11:59 pm – $10 late fee will apply after this date. All runners registered will receive a t-shirt and 1 meal is included in the registration fee. Additional meals can be purchased at $15 each and should be ordered at time of registration. Online registration will be available until Friday, August 16th at 12:00 noon at www.webscorer.com. Please note: Registration will not be accepted after this time or on Race Day! This will be a Timed event with “902 Race Timing”!
