Lyndsay Hubley is an artist living in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. Being a native of Cape Breton, she is inspired to create as a way of honouring the beauty of the land and culture of her home. Living away, it has become tradition to return to Cape Breton each summer with her children to share the landscapes, coastal views and places of importance from her own childhood. In her Journeys Home collection, Lyndsay shares her unique point of view through her colourful, impressionistic paintings, exploring the heritage of the small-town communities, and the tapestry that makes up the “home of our hearts”. This exhibition runs October 1 – November 23.
Presented in Association with Celtic Colours International Festival.
