An evening of sampling specialty food at The Corner Store by missbrenna plus a description of La Belle Excuse products we’re featuring for this event. La Belle Excuse is a small family-owned business from Quebec with olive groves in Greece. Their products are beautiful in every way – olive oils, vinegars, olives, salt, confit. An array of gourmet products on the menu for everyday cooking. We will use their products and others to make dips, salad, pasta salad to enjoy Mediterranean yumminess. Thursday, May 23, 7:30-9:00pm $40 per person + tax (reserve in advance of event – not a drop-in event) Menu (sample sizes will be served) – vegetarian Sicilian Citrus Salad – Mixed greens, roasted nuts, thinly shaved shallot/onion, orange, grapefruit, Blood orange & lemon dressing *Showcases blood orange juice, lemon vinegar, La Belle Excuse olive oil, local honey Pesto Pasta Salad – pasta, pesto dressing, red onion, tomato, cucumber, garlic, roasted red peppers, feta cheese *Showcases Rummo pasta, house pesto, La Belle Excuse olive oil, feta cheese House Breads & Dips – Hummus, Bruschetta, olive oil & vinegars Olives for snacking.
