St. John’s, Newfoundland-based Kelly McMichael is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer who has performed with The Burning Hell, Tim Baker and Sarah Harmer. McMichael’s debut independent album Waves (2021) earned a spot on the Polaris Prize shortlist, three Music NL Awards, and an East Coast Music Award. Her second album, After The Sting Of It (2024), is a lush progression into art rock and pop sounds. Joining Kelly McMichael is a new trio from Port Hawkesbury, The Boojums, featuring Willie Stratton, Sara Eve, and Peter MacInnis.
