The 12th annual Acoustic Roots Festival is scheduled for August 29 to 31. Held on the 500-acre site of Two Rivers Wildlife Park, the festival showcases East Coast folk, country, Celtic, blues, and bluegrass performers. The stage lights up Friday evening with music and workshops continuing throughout the weekend, starting with a traditional square dance workshop on Saturday morning. In addition to the music, festival-goers get to enjoy all the activities this year-round family recreational park has to offer including camping, walking trails through wildlife enclosures, a petting zoo, fish ponds, playgrounds, swimming in the Mira River, and the observatory.
