Most accommodations, restaurants, and visitor centres on Cape Breton Island offer free Wi-Fi access. Cell service is generally reliable in larger communities and along main highways, but coverage may be limited in remote or coastal areas.

If staying connected is important during your visit, check with your accommodation provider in advance. Consider downloading maps or travel information ahead of time, especially if you plan to explore rural regions or the Cabot Trail.
